For my internship I interned at a public educational organization with the primary business of this company is to advertise a college. This is a large company located in New York City, Brooklyn. The history of this company being founded goes back to 1881, with it being renamed 1953, and the department I am working for being opened in 1998. Key events in this organization were allowing women to attend the organization in 1965, the name of the organization as it is known today was changed again in 2002, the BFA in Communication Design was introduced February 1998, and in 2020 when the pandemic hit the 5 year BArch was introduced. The clients are the faculty and staff of the college.
The area where I work in the company are in photography, recording video footage, creating and editing video. The articles I read on this organization spoke of the long history and changes this organization has gone through. This Public Educational Organization provides about 52 majors individuals can choose from, a long lasting history, 3 buildings that house their educational faculty, and a place of many things to learn. These articles taught the many diverse paths you can take for your education. Each path being more unique than the other while some are very much alike and even surprising.
