As for the copyright issue in the internship, the design manual of Brooklyn College mentions the rules on the use of logos, which cannot be obtained by taking screenshots and designing. You must apply to the school department for permission to use the pdf file to design.

As mentioned in the article “Copyright Fair Use and How it Works for Online Images”, the use of logos and images on the Internet without permission can be considered infringement.

It cannot be used to design posters, activity pages, books, etc., using images or the school logo on the website. The purpose of this is to not allow the logo to have any size and pixel modifications, because a second screenshot will cause the logo to lose pixels and size changes. This will turn the original logo into another logo that is similar but not the same, so this is extremely important.

The design industry is inseparable from the cultural style of design. Audience size and design ethics occupy a major position in design. There is no right or wrong choice in moral issues because various places or countries will agree to certain laws or prohibit certain rules.

In the article “Ethical Issues in the Graphic Design Business”, designers have the right to give up or choose other projects if the company or brand they choose is embarrassing, has age restrictions or violates ethical product advertising. It is difficult to guarantee the correct or wrong answers to explain these problems. The best way is to do less controversial advertising projects that do not actively incite the audience’s emotions.
