My name is Jing Liu. I am a student at NYC College Of Technology pursuing a degree in Dental hygiene. I was born in China. I came to NY when I was 14 years old.  People around me have been told me that my English was not good enough to study in medical field. However as long as I can remember, I have wanted to work in the medical field.  I started as a medical assistant when I graduated from high school and I really enjoyed myself working in medical field. My original major was nursing, but I decided to switch to dental hygiene by my third semester because I felt the majority of Asian has lack of dental acknowledges.  I wanted to use my knowledges and passion to help more people.  After two years of clinic in school, I know that this is what I wanted to do in my future.
