During the Fall 2023 product development internship at Love Shack Fancy, I worked directly under the Production Coordinator, becoming an essential component of the production team’s efficiency and coordination. My diverse responsibilities encompassed various crucial tasks supporting the seamless flow of the brand’s operations. From managing samples, creating Excel charts, and updating works in progress to organizing bulk fabrics and trims, I ensured meticulous attention to detail and structured support in every production process. Additionally, I assisted the Studio Manager in handling incoming parcels, preparing for production fittings, and maintaining the production fit area and sample closet, contributing significantly to an organized and productive work environment.
Moreover, I played a vital role in managing seasonal production materials and line sheets, maintaining binders, and facilitating the preparation and delivery of materials from vendors, exhibiting a dedication to streamlined processes and a keen eye for maintaining meticulous standards. Love Shack Fancy, as a brand, encapsulates a whimsical, vintage-inspired aesthetic that combines dreamy designs with bohemian elegance, and my time there allowed me to immerse myself in the intricate craftsmanship and attention to detail that define its romantic, feminine style.
