I have known Janelle Evans for approximately 3 years in both the capacity of subordinate and friend. Ms. Evans has demonstrated a level of maturity that far outweighs her chronological years. She will process whatever information is directed to her and develop winning strategies to combat whatever problem or issue that presents itself. She responds with respect to everyone and underscores the inherent dignity in each of us as human beings. She believes and relies on the power of God to assist her in her daily struggles and she is not afraid to verbalize her faith. Whether in her personal or professional life, Ms. Evans conducts her affairs with tact, professionalism and a high level of decorum. Her most particular strength is her ability to accurately assess and make informed and prudent decisions.
I am confident that Ms. Evans will succeed at whatever she decides she wants to do because she stays focused and understands in its entirety the concept that “life is what you make it.” Others may throw obstacles and challenges in her way, but she knows ultimately it is her resolve to rise above this. Her determination, hard work and commitment to her success will take her to the next level. Her ability to juggle the rigors of motherhood while obtaining an education is a testament to her strength and character.
Ms. Evans has a beautiful personality and it is a joy to be in her company. She has a wonderful sense of humor and a superb command of the English language. She is dedicated to making her life a success while also helping others to maximize their potential and this can be considered as a part of the essence of life.
It is my recommendation that she be highly considered for this scholarship.
Sincerely,
Carol Wilson
