Maya Angelou stated that “without courage we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency.”  It is with great courage that I have embarked on a career in nursing to fulfill a lifelong passion to contribute to society in a positive way by helping others and providing them with support at times when they need it most, remembering that there was a time that I needed the same.
