Executive Summary
This project is a fantasy food-based crafting and gathering game that has the player go out into the world and amass materials for their establishment. It is planned to be developed in the Unity 2D engine.
This project serves as a way for me to bring together two of my most consistent interests, culinary and games, over my lifetime. The idea to combine the two into an item management type game was spurred on by my more recent interest in the Atelier series or even games like little alchemy which has similar core mechanics but focused on alchemy instead of food.
At the moment I am likely to be the only person working on this project unless I happen to find someone interested in joining. Going forward on the technical side I would have to learn how to create an inventory and crafting systems in order to create 2 separate game phases that the player interacts with each day/level.
I would need to figure out what the setting of the game will be and what kind of items would fit the said setting.
-Current scale of the project could be large at the moment
– have an understanding of how item systems in games work and be able to create my own
-Better understanding of Unity2D
Regardless of how the result turned out, I believe that I should come out of this project more experienced than I went in. With that newly obtained knowledge, I would like to be able to do another project in a similar vein but on a larger scale if possible. As a result of this, I should hopefully be able to avoid any pitfalls that I encountered during the project if I encounter them again.

You are a mage turned cook and you want to bring nothing but the best quality of ingredients to your customers, you take some time to seek out some ingredients from areas of legend. As this is a solo project at the moment, I will be taking on all the roles associated with its creation(design, development, assets creation).
