Hello and welcome to my E portfolio. My name is  Jhanu Balkarran and here  is a brief summary of myself. I was born and raised in Guyana, and migrated to the USA at the age of 9. I graduated  high school with a  Regents Diploma. During my sophomore year of high school, dentistry has always  grabbed my attention.  I noticed it has the power to make a difference in one’s lives.  Seeing the power it has to change people lives,I applied to New York City College of Technology  competitive dental hygiene program and here is my journey!
