Fourth semester Public health Community center visit. We went as team to Florence senior care. We taught the elders how to maintain their oral cavity meaning dentures, implants, and existing teeth. The goal for that project was to educated and elaborate on their current knowledge.
Head Start Fluoride Varnish program. This was also done in fourth semester. It was about teaching children how to brush , screening and applying preventative agents against caries with 5% Sodium fluoride Varnish.
In second semester, we did a projected on Erythritol. We wanted individuals to be aware that there are alternatives to sugar usage rather than table sugar alone. We discussed the benefits of using Erythritol and effects it has on the teeth. The goal was to educate about alternative sugar.
