Cooke Center Grammar School 2016: Oral health care was presented and taught to children with a number of developmental disabilities.
“Bright Smiles, Bright future” program, Greater NY Dental Meeting 2016: Children from low-income NYC neighborhoods were screened and taught oral health care.
Family Head Start: dental screenings and fluoride varnish applications. My classmates and myself got an opportunity to teach preschoolers about oral health and brushing.
As part of this program, children were given “report cards” to give to their parents advising them if possible dental treatment is needed.
