I did a group research project on Silver Diamine Fluoride and We presented it at a table clinic presentation for the whole college. This was a very interesting topic for me to research because SDF is relatively new in the US although it has been around for years in countries like Japan. It is primarily used for pediatric or geriatric dental patients. I chose this topic because the pediatric dentist I was working with was very fond of this product and used it on many of his patients. At the time I had never heard of this treatment and it intrigued me to do the research.
