Below you’ll find a few City Tech-related resources that may prove valuable:
- City Tech’s Atrium Learning Center
- Academic calendar, City Tech Fall 2015
- Class meeting grid, City Tech Fall 2015
Here are a few additional sites that I encourage you to check out:
- The Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue University, where you can find lots of information about proper grammar and the rules of MLA citation.
- This electronic copy of J.D. Salinger’s short story collection, Nine Stories, contains great examples of how to punctuate dialogue (using quotation marks, indenting and starting a new line with every new speaker). Take a look at page 3 and his story, “A Perfect Day for Bananafish.” Even though Salinger doesn’t use many dialogue tags (e.g., “he explained,” “she said”), you can easily follow along with and picture the conversation that is taking place.
