A data backup is just that – a backup. In these current times where remote work is becoming more abundant, it is strongly recommended for employees to follow some sort of a backup schedule.
A popular backup habit is the 3-2-1 backup rule, whereas:
- 3 copies of your data should be made.
- 2 of them should be stored in devices like flash drives or hard drives.
- 1 copy being stored in a physical location.
You don’t have to follow this EXACT rule however, the point is that you get into the habit of storing backups.
