Even Though i did arrive later than everyone, i did enjoy this walking tour a lot. Before heading to Hudson yards, i enjoyed seeing the area around me, i had seen a statue of Jesus Christ on my way there. I have seen photos and videos of the vessel before on social media, but it was amazing to see it in first person. I also took a lot of videos of it and the background because i was just amazed. Additionally, when i started making my way out, i got to see the new statue they added on the Highline which i found hilarious. There was also another class seeming to have a tour of the Highline when i was there. While doing my research i realized they actually named this pigeon statue the “dinosaur”, and i’m glad it gets to stay for at least 18 months because it is really nice to look at in person. I’ve been to Chelsea’s market before back in December of last year, i didn’t really see anything that catched my eye my second time there but i did enjoy seeing the different food spots. Besides the pigeon statue, i also enjoyed the tour of the Starbucks reserve. Since my siblings working at Starbucks there wasn’t that much out of the ordinary, but it was interesting to learn how their production process with the beans and how overall the machines work. I also found it nice that they actually have a variety of foods and snacks in the reserve than in actual Starbucks. The Merchandise they had in store was also nice. I hope i get to visit the other reserve in the city near the empire state building. Greenwich village was beautiful to look at too, seeing the small beach area for visitors was nice as well. I didn’t spend much time on Little Island, but it was also a nice park, maybe I’ll visit again with some friends.
