Are immigrants putting in too much effort to accumulate into the American culture that we lost touch with our origin?
Thesis- Immigrants has encountered the obstacle of trying to fit in upon arriving to America because we had to learned a new language, choose an English name, and identify a place to be our home.

Subtopic 1 – Learning a new language
Thinking in English
Inability to understand Chinese in certain situations due to confusion with two languages.
Harder to communicate with family members
Subtopic 2 – Choosing a different name
Have the tendency to hide my Chinese name due to the embarrassment I feel when addressed by it.
Subtopic 3 – Identifying which place is my home
Choosing a country to support in the Olympics
The time span I stayed in each country
