RAD 3340 Advance Imaging II
This course provides an understanding of state-of-the-art imaging methods as they pertain to clinical practice and the science of radiology. Students will explore topics of advanced diagnostic imaging and therapeutic technologies. The focus includes specialized modalities such as mammography, pediatric trauma, nuclear imaging, positron emission tomography (PET), bone densitometry (DEXA), and sonography. The modalities will be presented in terms of history, indications, and procedures performed.
