Welcome to my undergraduate nursing portfolio. I am currently finishing up my Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at New York City College of Technology. Choosing a career is one of the most important actions in a person’s life. The choice that we make will determine whether or not we will have a positive impact on our society. Some people choose a career for various reasons: some for financial benefits, some because they are forced to do it, some because it has always been their dream, some because someone that they know and “look-up to” is doing it and some because they just love it and want to do it. Regardless of a person’s career choice, we can all agree that someone or something, directly, or indirectly, contributed to his or her decision making. I like to think that I didn’t choose the field of Nursing; rather, it chose me!
