    To find the Range:Highest value – Lowest value
    5,40,6,45,26,4,28,46 (46-4=42) Range is 42.

    1. Find the mean add all the numbers then divide by the amount of numbers 5,40,6,45,26,4,28,46\8 Equals 200\8 = 25

    2.Subtract the mean from each number in the set.
    1.5-25=-20
    2.40-25=15
    3.6-25=-19
    4.45-25=20
    5.26-25=1
    6.4-25=21
    7.28-25=3
    8.46-25=21
    3.Sqaure each difference
    1)-400 2)225 3)-361 4)400 5)1 6)-441 7)9 8)441
    4. The sum of the squares is -126
    5.N-1 = 8-1=7 -126\7=-18
    6.The square root of -18 is -4.24
