Write an equation expressing the amount of interest he will be pay as a function of time (years) in school. Over the course of the 4 years at school, how much interest will Jose pay?

    the whole amount(x)rate(x)years *must change 4% into a decimal before multiplying it by
    12000 x .04 x 4 = 1920 moving two places to the right
