Course Description

This course covers computer-Aided Design, Computer-Aided Manufacturing, and computer
simulation of machining processes. This course introduces several manufacturing projects
that involve CAD-CAM, simulation, and manufacturing. This course provides a hands-on
experience in basic manufacturing techniques and a solid understanding on the machining
processes. Term project includes the design and development of economically sound
products with the help of latest world technologies, automated equipment, and proper
facilities layout. This course also covers the processes planning, quality control, and different
methods of automation.
