    A col­league just told me about an in­ter­est­ing con­fer­ence tak­ing place March 22-25 at NYU. Reg­is­tra­tion is free, and many pan­els look fas­ci­nat­ing to any­one who stud­ies and/or ap­pre­ci­ates urban places and pop­u­lar music:
