Letter Printing
I found the letter printing demonstration interesting. The letters had to be handpicked and organized in order to make sentences. There were lines which were used to make spaces and lines to form more sentences. There was a wooden panel where you place the page so you can print with the machine. There were various ink colors to use for the page.
The actual machine was pretty big and safe to use. The ink had to be smeared on a plate that will use the desired color to print. The inking process took a while because the plate had to be completely covered with ink. There was a roller that does the actual printing because that’s what contacts the plate and paper. After the plate was finally covered the paper had to be placed where the roller touches it and then it printed. A lever had to be pulled towards you to print and then back to stop printing. By repeating the process a large amount of papers can be made in a minimum amount of time. You just need to be efficient.
