Course Description

This course is designed to give students an overview of the legal system and the role of the
Paralegal in various legal settings. Students will learn the different sources and areas of law;
legal terminology; investigative skills; the operation of federal and state court systems; the roles
of attorney, paralegal, and client; and legal ethics and the Code of Professional Responsibility.
