    I linked this article because many people are torn between drinking alcohol or smoking marijuana. They both have negative effects and can alter a person thoughts, and judgement but alcohol is given a pass because it is legal. Marijuana is legal in many states but it is illegal according to the federal government. Ultimately, when you are over the age of 24 and you are consuming alcohol, you are well within your right but, if you are a 24 year old and smoking marijuana… you are considered a criminal.
