Fashion Futurists
The Fashion Futurists Club was specifically created to address issues of “Cultural Relativism” on our campus and is an educational symposium about the belief that “dress” – the fashions one wears – impacts campus diversity and inclusiveness and communicates to others about who one is and what one aspires to become. People wear clothing to make social statements about themselves. Hence, each year, fashion students design, construct, and stage a fashion show aimed at diversity and inclusion via fashion ideas, fabric prints, colors, styles, and silhouettes. For the last two years, this – opeTn to the campus – event has been staged in the Academic Complex Theatre.
