    Using a quote as an interesting attention grabber or “hook” is creative, but there are more everyday requirements for internal quoting that we need to know about.

    I have uploaded a pdf called “Here is the proper method for internal quotes.” It is very helpful and very complicated.

    A) I urge you to save it, print it, and annotate it (mark it up with comments and your own highlighting or underlining of what you feel you want to remember.

    B) Before we start actually writing quotes, please submit any questions this document brings to mind. Due today

    C) After I see and respond to your questions, I will give you some practice creating quotes. If we do them in small increments, you will have a better grasp of the concept. Due today
