    A) Hope everyones enjoying their internship and reaching their goals while they are attending. I have completed 75 hours but by Friday i’ll be completing 100 hours. One thing i have learned so far is completing assignments and task within a faster pace because before joining i would take my sweet time since I value my work. God blessed me that I was capable to finish it in a better and faster pace. Honestly, I haven’t completed the time sheet yet but I keep track how many hours I completed for the week.

    B) When it comes to freelancing projects I believe it’s important because it can saves you time and energy. Time is valuable and money as well. Also, it’s great to have it so you and the client can be on the same page. The benefits of having a contract is that it mentions everything that’s included within the services in almost every detail especially the confidentiality. When your starting you can charge for a low rate until you get more clients and when you start expanding your work. If you want to charge hourly its good to start at

    C) What stood out to me is that “force majeure” and this quote “While we can always hope for the best, incorporating this into your contract gives you extra protection in case something does happen.” because I never knew that there was a terminology that existed especially what it means. Back in February I recently re started my laptop since I was trying to update one of my softwares and it was giving me a huge issue. Long story short, I had to restart my laptop ASAP since I had assignments to complete by a certain deadline. It was one of the worst decision ever due to the fact that I deleted some of my clients work although I completed most of them. Thanks to the emails I was ever to re download them. Also, what I need to start doing is charging for revisions as well. “Freelance graphic designers may not get the project right on the first try. Clients and designers often have different visions, which is why it’s good to give things a second chance. Or a third chance. But how many chances are you going to give?” I agree with this quote because most clients usually want little big of change or reedit a design depending on who’s the client. But I feel like revisions should be charged after 2 revisions due to the fact that it saves time between you and the client and its a hassle to go back and fourth as well.

D). The article “freelance workers”, I strongly believe that freelancers have a right to speak up just like an employee. When we speak to clients this is why we NEED to explain to them the policies as well

“You can file a complaint with OLPS. OLPS will notify the hiring party who must respond to the complaint within 20 days. OLPS will also provide information to help you find a lawyer, understand the legal process, and more”

YOU as a designer have a right to file as a complaint or take the client to court and fight for your principle as well. The perfect thing about this is that you’re not handling this on your own you have someone by your side.
