Automatic ID Scanner
- OpenOpen
This is an ID Scanner system that will help Professor’s take attendance in their classes. The students will swipe their school ID card and the system will record the students name. It will give the student a 1 for being present, 0 for absent, and 0.5 for coming in late. All data is written to Excel using the DataNitro Add-in.
This project uses the Arduino Uno, USB Host Shield, and a Magnetic Stripe Reader as the hardware. For software it used python 2.7, Arduino IDE, and Excel 2010
