    Smith street is an extension of Jay street which starts from Fulton Mall where Jay street ends.

    Walking down Smith street until Atlantic Avenue, you can find:

    Brooklyn Tabernacle – which is a non-denominational church located at 17 Smith Street at the Fulton Mall in downtown Brooklyn. It has 16,000 members and is one of the biggest churches in the Greater New York Area.

    Appellate Supreme Court Clerk

    NYC Transit Authority

    Central Court Building

    Brooklyn House of Detention

    Since there is not much parking available on the streets, a large lot of Edison Fast Park is located along Smith street between Fulton Mall and Atlantic Ave.
