You are invited to attend a Workshop in Classical Architecture prepared by the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art for use in ARCH 1231, Building Technology 1, Department of Architectural Technology, City Tech, CUNY

Thursday February 8, 2024 from 8:30AM to 12:40PM starting in Room V305, Voorhees Hall and leading to Federal Hall in Lower Manhattan. See full schedule below.

Student are asked bring:

· Sketchbook 8”x10” or larger

· Architect’s Scale

· Drawing Pencils (medium to soft leads, and/or different colors)

· An Eraser

· Tape Measure

· Subway Fare to and from Federal Hall

9:45 – 10:30AM Travel to Federal Hall by Subway

10:30 – 12:15 Measured Drawing: Federal Hall Rotunda

• Techniques Demo • Drawing Investigation • Findings - Comparison with the Canonical

12:15 – 12:40 Return to Campus, Class ends at 12:40PM
