In the reading #1 we read about building systems that is divided in three major system that are structural, enclosure and mechanical system. for my understating building systems is the order and steps that have to follow any architect that is going to design any type of building. Even though, structural system is based on those primary elements that any building is really have to included as columns, beams, walls, floors, and roof structural. Enclosure system is about those secondary elements that any building need such as, window, door, exterior wall, and roof. Mechanical systems are based on the elements need to be or live in any building such as electricity, water, air.
Every architect need a space build anytime by using some structure and materials, materials such as masonry, stone, wood, steel and concrete. All this materials are essential for any building project however every part of the project will need to use any of this material to get a perfect building up.

In the reading #2 was more interesting for the reasons we read about how egress and stairs can helpful with the safety code and we actually went to the hall and the stairs to see how it really works.

When we talk about egress is about a building code to specify something, it can be an exit or fire alert to specify people what do they need to do when it happened. That’s why architect need to verify that when design any building or house the must include egress if not they can go the jail for those mistakes. When we talk about safety when a building is on fire we must now that the fastest way to get out of the dangers is by taking the stairs that why stairs are one of the most important element in any building. Everyone must know what is the stairs, is an element of the building that helps us move to the one floor or levels to another, that’s why if the fire is on and you are at the highest floor the must safety and faster way is taking the stairs. We must know that stairs are made perfectly with the right dimensions based in which type of building is. Stairs are made of a lot materials but majority of the stairs are prepared to be a safety place when the fire hits the building for the reason, the material used to building are the one that can resist the must amount of fire hours.

Also, stairs have order to build it that is by having a riser and tread that a general common riser must be 7 in and the tread is 11 in. However, have some handrails that can helps disability and people to go down without anyone fail. In conclusion, the book really explain step by steps and all the details that any architect need to know for design it.
