Safety Applications

Emergency Electronic Brake Lights (EEBL) is the EEBL application that activates the car to send out a self-generated emergency brake event to surrounding remote vehicles (RVs).

Blind Spot Warning+Lane Change Warning (BSW+LCW) is the application designed to alert the driver during a lane change attempt if the blind-spot zone into which the driver plans to switch over to is, or will soon be, occupied by another vehicle traveling in the same direction.

Forward Collision Warning (FCW) is the application designed to alert the driver of the vehicle of a potential rear-end collision with a vehicle ahead in traffic in the same lane and direction of travel.

Pedestrian Detection system uses the feature of forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking to help protect pedestrians. The vehicle uses it cameras and radar to look for pedestrains in the vehicle’s path. In some vehicles the system will alert the driver in different ways and in other vehicles it will start to automatically brake if a collision is deemed high.

Adaptive Cruise Control uses lasers, radar, cameras, or a combination of all these systems to maintain a constant distance between you and the car ahead of you. this feature automatically maintains a safe following distance. in a situation where highway traffic slows down, some system will bring your car to a complete stop and automatically return back to speed when traffic becomes normal again.
