SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE
SAGE, a national nonprofit advocating with and serving LGBT older adults, is seeking summer interns and volunteers. If you are looking to get more hands-on client experience between May and September; have performed case management duties at a job or previous internship; and have a basic level of cultural competence in working with LGBT people, we would love to hear from you.
Duties will include:
- Scheduling and conducting detailed intake interviews and client assessments
- Entering confidential client information into our electronic charting systems
- Screening potential clients via phone
- Helping coordinate volunteers to assist clients with tasks and escort them to appointments
We offer flexibility in scheduling, clinical and task supervision with SIFI-certified LCSWs, and a pleasant office environment.
