Academics

Last semester, I was working as an RN at a busy and high stress Fertility Clinic.  With little orientation to the work, I felt myself going through the stages of burnout.  I noticed my grades were dropping in school, I was agitated and tired all the time.  After one year, I decided to quit and prioritize school.  Even though the job was  at times overwhelming and tiresome, I loved the physiology behind fertility.  Last semester, I wrote a paper and gave a powerpoint presentation in my Urban Health class about the disparities within the low-socioeconomic class and fertility clinics.  Please check them out if you’re interested!
