ARTH 1204 Syllabus
ARTH 1204, 20th Century Dress and Culture, studies the effect of different historical periods on the clothing of the time through analysis of its economics, politics, religion and culture. Students examine the relationship between fashion and culture, as it is integral to understanding the 20th century history and gives an understanding for how fashionable dress continues to develop in the 21st century.
