Syllabus

BUF 2203, Visual Merchandising, explores visual merchandising through the consideration of fashion. Student learn visual merchandising from the exterior and interior design, including window presentation, lighting, effects of color and music, fixtures, layout, and themes and elements. In this course, students learn the Scamper and Bell methodologies which explain various professional visual displays in different retail channels, including boutiques, specialty stores, luxury stores, and department stores.
