My name is Gabriella Kivman. I was born in Brooklyn N.Y. on September 7th 1990. I always enjoyed education. Ever since I was in elementary school I loved reading and writing and engaging in extracurricular activities.  After I graduated high school in 2008, I decided to go right into college. My first four years of my higher education began at the College of Staten Island where I earned my Bachelors in Sociology. After a semester off from school I realized that even though I did appreciate sociology it was not my passion, so I decided to pursue a career in health care. With some long research I made a decision to take the following per-requisite courses at NYCCT and apply to the Dental Hygiene program. Now three years later I would like to share the experiences that I had at the NYCCT and the Dental Hygiene program.
