1A) This photograph shows my group and I presenting our service learning project. For this project several dental hygiene students gather in a group to spread awareness about different topics in dentistry. Our group presented at an elderly community center where we explained about the effects of aging on the oral cavity.

1B) The second photograph is from the Headstart Varnish program, where a group of dental hygiene students go to preschools for under privileged children and apply topical varnish on their teeth to aid in the prevention of dental caries.
