Personal Philosophy on Nursing

When I think of nursing, the word caring automatically comes into mind. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a medical professional. My personal philosophy in nursing is that one should have a basic foundation of love for others and a desire to care for others. With these two qualities, being a nurse will not simply be a job, rather it will come out naturally and the results will be positive. Patients will notice the natural loving and caring attitude the nurse demonstrates and that will make them feel unique and appreciated. Ultimately, nursing is about putting your patients before yourself and dedicating your time and expressing to them that you genuinely care for them.
