While it’s unlikely that FDR’s art program will see a reboot in our current time, creating your own WPA Posters is a great way to explore poster making. Especially with the tools you’ve picked up recently.
Take a look at some of these examples of WPA posters. For your homework:
• Choose a theme of poster you’d like to create: Public service announcement (brush your teeth, watch for animals while driving, eat veggies), advocating for a national park, or any other theme that is typical of WPA posters.
• Create three, 11″ x 15″ posters based on that theme.
