My name is Seyhan Akgungor. My major is Graphic Design. It is my first semester at CityTech and I am hoping to get my B/Tech degree next summer. I am a big fan of reading books. However I am in trouble with reading newspaper on a daily basis. Any tips for me : )

Fiction is a imaginary story that, as long as you read it, it would lead you Into it. Fiction is usually edited to film. We read fiction because it enriches our real life.

Fiction is a genre that author tells stories about people or events based on her/his imagination. Sometimes the story can be about completely a fantasy world with unrealistic characters and places. And sometimes it looks so realistic that you may lose the line between real and unreal. 

Hi, there, my name is Ken Kang. I am majoring in Computer Engineering Technology. I love sports, like basketball, soccer, and ping-pong. I also love to read. I read news, and fiction novels.

Fiction is any story exaggerated from something that could be possible. We should read fiction because it can be entertaining. Even though it is fake, the stories are ones we enjoy  because they give us a glimpse into lives we wish we had, lives we can have, or a fantasy reality that is so far fetched we can only dream of it.

To me, fiction is a genre that may have started with Literature and then expanded to Film and any moving media. The situations that take place here are not doable in “reality”, and I think that is the interesting thing about this genre. Even though many people believe this kind of material is not as important because it doesn’t copy reality, I believe it reflects a society, and the zeigeist of certain time or place. Personally, I use this genre (reading it or writing it) to scape from reality, I think is like a good drug…

My name is Marissa Parker. I’m a Hospitality Management major. This is my third semester at City Tech. I transferred from Monroe College where I got my Associate Degree in Baking and Pastry arts.

1-  The discussions and draftings of the essays are going to be individually or we are going to do it in groups?

2- What is the peer editing about? The final project?

3- Whats the difference between the “Final Projects” and the “Presentations” scheduled for the end of the semester?
