Well…The name’s Da-Shaun Murray. I’m 20 and I’m a communication Design Major, though idk why they just don’t call it Animation and Game Design -_-. This is my second semester at Tech. I’m like a super procrastinator which results in me doing this assignment an hour before class starts. I’m a big nerd who loves to read and create comics. I read both japanese and western style comics. I plan on turning my own comics into an Anime or Video Game or both, yea, Ima go with both. I’m a big gamer too (Team XBOX360!!!), but I actually also play football (currently on a semi-pro team) and I skateboard too. uhhhh…what else is there to say? I’m friendly 😀 Lets all do great in this class ^_^

1. Will we mostly be reading short stories?

2. Can we watch a film based on the short story/novel we read ?

3. Do we Have to participate every class ?

My name is Estefania Lopez , my major is hospitality management this is my 3rd year in this school. I enjoy reading very much. I took films and literature before this class and I love reading a book and then comparing it to the movie, i like how the movie illustrates what I’ve read.

Fiction to me is a whole different world, or something unrealistic. Fiction reading has to be unique and very imaginative. A story that is not true but that can happen in someone’s mind. I think we should read this, because it expands the readers mind, and makes them think.

Hi my name is Honey,

I am 22 years old. I am in the Hospitality Management Program and I am happy to say that it’s my last year and I am so close to graduating, after having a difficult time deciding in what to major in. I am a very happy person and sweet and I laugh at almost anything, I believe life is about enjoying ourselves. I have never been a type of person to read that much, but fiction for some reason interested me more then any other English class offered. I am hopeful to read good books, and get more reading done, rather then just reading newspapers. Reading expands your mind, so it should be done more often.

Fiction is stories that can based of of historical, factual, or actual events. Fiction can be the truth stretched. Fiction can also be purely fantasy pulled from one’s imagination. We should read fiction because it is interesting and overall fun. Fiction is entertaining because there is usually a lot of narration and as you read fiction novels, you start to visualize and connect with the story.

1)What kind of essays will we be writing? Will these essays be creative pieces or will they be based off of assigned readings?

2)Approximately how many essays will be assigned throughout the entire semester?

Hello 🙂 My name is Nicole Coard I am an Advertising and Graphic Arts major(ADV department) and I am taking this class because it is required and also because it seemed to be the most interesting of the choices. This is my third year @ Tech and I’m VERY ready to graduate but in due time. Im also 20 years young and I reside in Brooklyn..Thats all I can think of to say about myself right about now.
