Welcome to Mat 1275 College Algebra and Trigonometry course.
Our class meetings will be online synchronously every Tuesday, Thursday from 10:00 am-11:40 am via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra on our blackboard course site menu.
Occasionally, we may use the zoom (especially if there is any problem with the Blackboard.
I will provide the zoom meeting information in my first announcement.
Only the first-day meeting: Via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 10:00 am-11:40 am.
Every other session you will join the meeting room. To access the meeting room, please sign in to blackboard using your City Tech credentials, look for the “Collaborate Ultra” on the left-hand side under the menu, after clicking on that look for “Meeting room”.

We will use this course site for all the information, announcements, discussions, blog, project task orientation, etc.
Important Note: You need to sign up (if you haven’t done so before). For signing up on this course site you will need your City Tech email account. However, you will be able to access all the materials of the course online even if you don’t have an account (Until you set up your account, you can read and get information at least). You cannot participate in discussions, assignments, etc without an account, for that reason you’re urged to sign up asap.
We will use the blackboard for written work submissions and collaborate ultra.
As an initiating communication, I am sending an announcement through blackboard because that is the site where everyone is listed.
We will be using the webwork for the HW assignments and practice, as well as for exams and quizzes. (We’re waiting for updates from the department for links to our classes).
