My name is Esther Press and I am a dental hygiene student at New York City College of Technology in downtown Brooklyn. Working as a dental hygiene student is more than just being a “teeth cleaner”, we are part of the health educator team. We combine the importance of taking care of one’s oral condition, with one’s overall health status. I am extremely excited to start my career as a registered dental hygienist; to me this means providing the utmost care for each and every patient I treat.
