We recommend you start your E-portfolio by making use of the CTE E-Portoflio Template.
You will need a copy of the Template “XML” file to import into your site. Follow these steps:
- Be certain you have a copy of the template file. It is called E-Portfolio CTE Student Starter Template.xml
- Create your new E-Portfolio Site
- Delete all the default contents of you E-portfolio Site including pages, posts, comments, etc.
- Import the template file into your site:
(Site Admin > Tools > Import – follow the instructions to import the template) - When asked to “Assign Author” select yourself
- When asked to “Import Attachments” select yes to import
- After your site is created reset the menu as follows:
(Site Admin > Menus > Primary Navigation > Simple Navigation > Save) - There is a secondary “Advanced Navigation” you can choose which contains additional pages or you can make your own menu style and pages.
