  1. Filming went great! I felt more comfortable using the steadicam this time around, but I still had a lot of trouble keeping it from rocking from side to side. I imagine a heavier camera would help with this problem?

I liked how our shots turned out. Even without color grading I think the lighting in the basement really set the mood. The exterior shots were really fun to do. Everyone worked together really well. If we had more time to shoot scenes we could’ve made a really interesting short film I think!

  2. I want to practice going up and down stairs more, and maybe go outside to practice walking around obstacles on the sidewalk (but maybe that’s not a safe idea). I’d also like to try running with the steadicam, maybe through the hallways in the basement. I think that would work good with the “killer” idea.

  3. If we follow this killer idea, we can also get shots of the killer attacking a person. We can do like close ups on the hand of the person that got attacked on the floor. We can also do like a close up on their face and then we can do a dutch angle shot of the killer running away, the camera would be positioned on the floor sort of like a pov from the person that was attacked.

    1. for the “low mode,” the camera needs to be attached upside down. It is a good idea, but it would be too complicated for tomorrow without adequate rehearsals.

    1. It would be more challenging than stairs….you would need an assistant with a remote to zooming. We are not equipped for that. But, it is a nice idea.

  4. Hi, I donā€™t have any ā€œplannedā€ ideas but Iā€™d like to play around with the corner style with the steadicam, maybe something or someone looking like a killer or a scary something we see in movie and creep up in the corner to ā€œrevealā€ them
