Production process vocabulary
Pre-production- planning before the build period and rehearsals begin.
Production- Build period and rehearsal process
Rehearsals- Actors rehearse the show from the inital table read, though blocking, getting off book.
Technical Rehearsals- load in, Dry tech, full tech, dress rehearsals. Special rehearsals include dance, music and technology.
Preview- run throughs of the show without stopping with a limited audience
Run- Opening night announces the run of the show, followed by a planned performance schedule
Post Production- The closing of a show. Striking of all the scenery, costumes and technology. The restoration of the venue.

Your professor has provided an outline for project 1 Interactive Artworks. I suggest you download and fill in the outline to prepare for your assignment of writing the rough draft. You are encouraged to fill in the documents during our class discussion and turn in at the end of class. Next use the outline you turned in as a guide to write your Interactive Artworks essay, which is due next week.
