Basic Concept
After meeting and discussing the ideas, make a decision about what the project will be. Try to limit the scope of your project: the development of a complete set of paperwork for even a small exhibition is usually underestimated. The basic concept should have a working title (“The Barnacles of Doom”, “The Shrunken Closet”, etc. etc. etc). You then need to discuss the story behind the story: what are the events that led up to the experience in the exhibit? What happened to each of the characters? How does this tie into the attraction theme? What year, time of day, season, etc?
A brief paragraph describes what the audience experiences in their visit to your exhibit. You may want to storyboard your concept. Make a point to describe the type of effects and how the audience will interact with your ideas. Also discuss briefly what types of equipment will be used to achieve your effects: remember no changing the laws of physics!
