After reading one of my classmate’s summary. I learn that we should try to make each points as concise as possible. I realize she also writes something I have not mentioned in my paper.

In the article ” A medium Of The Most General Nature” by Nicholas Carr, the author tells us how internet has great impact on spreading medium. At first, the author talked about how digital computer was first used, and later, how it was developed that many institution can use it . Then, the invention of internet made people start to use digital computer in daily life to send emails, get information and so on. Later on, people can see pictures and videos, listen to music and play games. Nowadays, people also use phones. And phone is like a mini version of computer. So, gradually, television was  taken place by computer or phones. Since people use internet very often, many medium producer came out many new products, such as “youtube”, ” facebook” and some other web browser . So people can search easily, listen to music easily. At the same time, more and more people post articles, books into the internet. Therefore, people can receive information more easily through news,  websites, magazines and so on. Public libraries starts to have public computers, which make more people have opportunities to read.

In the article U Can’t Talk to Ur Professor Like This by Molly Woethen, the author tried to convince students to use formal manners to treat their teachers or professors. Nowadays, many people use phones to text. Because of this convenience, many students  email their professor in a  casual way that they used to text to their friends or families. In order to get close to students, some professors tell students to treat them as their friends, which make students did not treat them as respectful as it should be.
