Extra credit: In “The Inheritance of Loss,” what change occurs in Biju by the end of the story? What is the purpose of this text?
In the beginning of “The Inheritance of Loss,” it’s clear Biju’s purpose was to find work. Looking for work if one is illegal is much harder than those that are legal. Biju worked mediocre jobs to make his living. From job to job, he grows experience and he meets new people. He meets others who share wisdom, and learns regardless of what one must change here to get ahead in life, one should never get rid of their culture, their beliefs and morals.

#3 is correct. #4 is correct.
Extra credit is acceptable also.
#1 extra credit!
